More Voiceover! American Express by Erin Repp

American Express has recently launched its “Stand for Small” campaign to support small businesses during the pandemic.

I had the privilege of working with the creative team at AmEx on the voiceover for their upcoming online commercials. Keep an ear out for my voice!

Tim Horton's Coffee- Voiceover by Erin Repp

If you live in Columbus, Ohio you may have heard my voice on the radio for this Tim Horton’s promotion!

Thanks DDO NY for the opportunity! I had a great time working with the team at Sonic Union in NYC to record this quick radio commercial. This was my first remote recording experience and it went so smoothly, I’m looking forward to the next! The sound engineer, Paul, even complimented the sound quality from my little home studio. This was a local radio spot so unfortunately I don’t have the final audio, but keep an ear open for my next recording!

Listen for my voice on this new commercial for Function of Beauty!

Thanks again to DDO NY for the opportunity and the team at Function of Beauty for having me. I especially enjoyed this recording session because I was able to work with a female director and a female sound engineer! I look forward to working more with Function of Beauty in the future! Keep an eye out for their commercials now airing on cable TV and all around the internet!

Musical Improv LEVEL TWO by Erin Repp

Musical Improv: Level 2

I was too impatient to wait for another musical improv class to begin, so while I was wrapping up level one, I started taking level two classes with the great Katie Hammond at the PIT!

I joined a fantastic group of improvisers and piano players as we learned how to craft an improvised musical from the opening number to the final bow. I’m hoping to continue taking class, join a team, and hit the stage very very soon!

Level 1 Musical Improv at the PIT

Level 1 Musical Improv at the PIT

In the end of August I began taking musical improv classes at the People’s Improv Theatre (PIT)!

The first time I saw musical improv it was like watching magic happen onstage, and I never imagined I would try it for myself. A few years later here we are!

I spent 8 weeks learning song structures, memory techniques, and rhyming games to hone the tools required to improvise an entire musical. Working with a piano accompanist, who is also improvising, my class successfully performed opening numbers, group numbers, solos, duets and trios at our class show!

I’m already studying level two, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into this wacky world! Stay tuned for shows!

New Photos from Shoott by Erin Repp

New Photos from Shoott

Since returning to NY I’ve been in desperate need of new headshots so that I can feel confident heading into auditions. After 18 months in Sydney I look a bit different than my last headshots, I’ve returned with an Australian sun-kissed glow!

Shoott is an NYC startup that was able to provide me with a 30 minute photography session just for the cost of the photos. Head to ‘Headshots’ under my 'Photo’ page to see the shots I chose!
